Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Expands Electronics & Software Team with the Addition of William Sparkman in Atlanta

ATLANTA (January 29) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of William Sparkman to the firm’s Atlanta office. Mr. Sparkman joins the firm as an associate on the Electronics & Software Team in the firm’s internationally recognized Intellectual Property Department.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sparkman worked as an associate in the Intellectual Property practice of an Am Law 100 firm in its Houston, Texas office. He focuses his practice on intellectual property matters. Mr. Sparkman has experience representing clients on a variety of patent procurement matters in addition to general intellectual property counseling. His experience includes drafting patent applications and prosecuting patents in the electrical, mechanical, and software patent arts.

Mr. Sparkman has drafted a number of patent applications for clients relating to oil and gas technology, microelectronic circuit fabrication, consumer electronic devices, industrial control system technology, agricultural equipment, and other technologies.

Mr. Sparkman earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, from Texas A&M University.
