Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Expands Government Enforcement and Investigations Team in Atlanta
ATLANTA (January 10) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of three attorneys to bolster the firm’s Government Enforcement and Investigations Team in the Atlanta office. Juan Martinez joins the firm as an Associate, Nicole Medrozo joins as a Senior Litigation Attorney, and Aaron Gallardo joins as a Litigation Attorney.
Mr. Martinez will focus on white collar criminal matters and internal investigations and has experience representing multinational corporations and financial institutions in enforcement proceedings before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Martinez worked as an associate at an international Am Law 100 firm.
Mr. Martinez earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review. Prior to attending law school, he served in the United States Army. Mr. Martinez received his B.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University. Mr. Martinez is fluent in Spanish
Ms. Medrozo is an accomplished compliance attorney, with both firm and in-house counsel experience, specializing in federal and state regulations, compliance, investigations, and corporate governance. Ms. Medrozo has experience in healthcare fraud and abuse laws, federal and state anti-kickback statutes, and physician referral laws. She has additional experience in litigation including conducting jury trials and criminal defense and prosecutions. Prior to joining the firm, she was an in-house compliance counsel at a large university and hospital system.
Ms. Medrozo earned her J.D. from Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, and her B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from Rutgers University, cum laude.
Mr. Gallardo focuses his practice on internal investigation and white collar criminal defense. His experience includes conducting international investigations and audits for companies as well as compliance training for company board members and employees.
Mr. Gallardo earned his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law and his B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University. Mr. Gallardo is also fluent in Spanish.
