SHANGHAI (March 3) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that Partner Gentry Sayad has been named Legal Advisor of the Board of Governors for 2016 of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai(AmCham Shanghai). Mr. Sayad is currently the Co-Chair of AmCham Shanghai’s Legal Services Committee and is a member of the Advocacy Policy Committee for the Board of Governors. Mr. Sayad is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Asia practice and is based in the Shanghai office where he has represented foreign and Chinese clients for nine years.

Mr. Sayad focuses his practice on international transactions, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and compliance issues and issues relating to intellectual property, dispute resolution, government relations, and China in-bound and out-bound investment. He also has a background in general commercial litigation. Mr. Sayad's industry experience includes clients in the manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, energy, insurance, and agricultural industries and he has represented private equity firms in relation to investments and transactions throughout Asia. He also has extensive experience representing not-for-profit and educational institutions.
