Insights: News Releases Kilpatrick Townsend Recognized as Finalist for the Relativity Innovation Award for Best Law Firm Solution
Annual competition honors organizations that use Relativity in creative and innovative ways to solve difficult or unique challenges within and outside of e-discovery
Press Release – (Atlanta, Georgia) October 3, 2016 – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton today announced that for the second year in a row, the firm has been named a finalist for the Relativity Innovation Award for Best Law Firm Solution to be presented at Relativity Fest on October 11, 2016.
Kilpatrick Townsend achieved this distinction for its custom proprietary Litintake application. Litintake is a robust matter management tool created to piece together information from various sources into one comprehensive and streamlined platform, thereby improving efficiencies, internal communication and overall client service. Utilizing data managed by and stored in Relativity, Litintake seamlessly integrates with the firm’s existing document management and billing tools, provides real-time budget analysis, tracks discovery deadlines and e-discovery project status, ensures compliance with data processing and production specifications, tracks all media and archival processes, and provides dashboard-style reporting and visual graphics.
“We are honored to once again be recognized as a finalist for the Relativity Innovation Award for Best Law Firm Solution,” said Craig Cannon, Kilpatrick Townsend E-Discovery Team Leader. “Kilpatrick Townsend is strongly committed to innovation and client service. This distinction in the Relativity community is another significant milestone.”
kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, will recognize finalists and announce winners during a special ceremony at Relativity Fest, the annual e-discovery conference that will be held October 9-11 in Chicago. This year, Relativity Fest brings more than 1,800 attendees from around the world together for a three-day event featuring engaging panel discussions, hands-on labs, breakout sessions, and insights from both kCura staff and Relativity end users. Members of Kilpatrick Townsend’s E-Discovery Team will be presenting on Creative Solutions with Relativity at Relativity Fest and providing a live demonstration of Litintake.
The Relativity community also has a chance to vote for their favorite finalists’ innovation for the Community Choice Solution.
“We’re excited to announce Kilpatrick Townsend’s Litintake as a finalist for the Innovation Awards at Relativity Fest,” said Perry Marchant, VP of engineering at kCura. “They took Relativity and built an application that improved efficiencies across a variety of e-discovery processes, including both internal and client communications. It saved their team a great deal of time, and let them focus on what they do best: providing great services to their clients. It’s also an excellent example of how law firms can extend Relativity for general practice management.”
