Insights: News Miles Alexander Wins Atlanta Red Cross LifeBoard Chairman's Award

On July 27, the American Red Cross of Atlanta awarded Miles Alexander with its LifeBoard Chairman's Award in recognition of his dedication and commitment as a lifelong blood donor. Miles' donation of more than 20 gallons since 1948 has potentially saved the lives of more than 500 individuals.

The American Red Cross of Atlanta's LifeBoard Chairman's Award is given to an individual who exemplifies the highest level of commitment to their organization's blood program.

At the luncheon, Kilpatrick Townsend received the “Sponsor Award,” an honor presented to LifeBoard companies that achieve their overall annual goal, and the “Site Award” for reaching bi-monthly goals. In total, the team collected 233 pints, potentially saving the lives of almost 700 people. Kilpatrick Townsend blood drive team members include: Teresa Allen, Allison Davis, Daniel Copland, Kristopher Phoenix, Karen Robinson, Brian Corgan, and Diane Prucino.
