Jack Xu focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counselling with an emphasis on electronics and software. Jack has prosecuted patent applications directed to complex technological fields including generative adversarial networks, convolutional neural networks, machine learning, computer vision, blockchain, consumer robotics, virtual reality, augmented reality, cellular networks, cloud technology, database systems, semiconductor devices, and medical devices. In addition, Jack applies his experience in patent litigation to conduct analyses on patent infringement, invalidity, and claim construction.

Prior to joining the firm, Jack worked as a patent prosecution associate at an intellectual property law firm based in San Francisco, California. Previously, he was a patent litigation associate in the Silicon Valley office of an international law firm. While attending Harvard Law School, Jack was an editor of the Journal of Law and Technology, a certified mediator, and a co-founder of the China Law Association.
