John Livingston focuses his practice on sustainable development, including mixed-use projects, LEED certified projects, and renewable energy contracting. Mr. Livingston has experience representing developers in all aspects of commercial real estate development, investment and leasing.
While in law school, Mr. Livingston was named a Chancellor Scholar and Dameron Law Scholar. He was a staff member and symposium editor for the North Carolina Law Review.
Mr. Livingston was named a 2010 and 2013 North Carolina "Rising Star" in Real Estate Law by SuperLawyers magazine. He has been recognized as a 2013 "Legal Elite" by Business North Carolina magazine in the area of Real Estate. Mr. Livingston is also among the first attorneys in Raleigh to be designated a LEED Accredited Professional. He was selected to participate in the 28th class of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Raleigh.
