Ted Davis divides his practice between domestic and international litigation and client counseling in the fields of trademark, copyright, false advertising, and unfair competition law, and has particular experience in trade dress disputes and with large-scale trademark clearance and registration projects. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Trademark Association, which he has represented in several amicus filings before the United States Supreme Court, and is currently the Financial Officer of the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law, on behalf of which he has testified before Congress on trademark and Internet issues.
Mr. Davis has been recognized as one of Atlanta’s “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend magazine and as a 2010 Georgia "Super Lawyer” for Intellectual Property and Intellectual Property Litigation and again in 2011 and 2013 for Intellectual Property by SuperLawyers magazine. He was named by Legal Media Group to its 2010 Guide to the World's Leading Trademark Law Practitioners and to its Best of the Best USA 2011 as one of the top 25 practitioners for Trademark Law in the country. He has also been listed in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® for Intellectual Property Law. Mr. Davis was recognized in The International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers in 2010 and 2011. He is listed in the 2012 and 2013 editions of World Trademark Review 1000 – The World's Leading Trademark Professionals and is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell.*
