Washington, D.C. (October 24) – Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton recently named Samuel Hayim an associate in the firm’s internationally recognized intellectual property department after serving as a Law Clerk at the firm for nearly a year. Mr. Hayim is a member of the firm’s Electronics & Software Team.

Mr. Hayim focuses his practice on patent counseling and prosecution in the software and electronic arts, in particular software development frameworks, control systems, and telecommunications.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hayim was Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia for more than seven years where he assessed patent applications within the software and electrical engineering fields.

Mr. Hayim earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He received his B.S. in Computer Engineering, with minors in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, from the University of Arizona.
