ATLANTA (March 21) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today that John Jett, an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office, was appointed to the National Board of the Young Lawyers Division of the Federal Bar Association (FBA). The Young Lawyers Division works to increase the interest of younger lawyers in the FBA’s activities; and to assist in the establishment, improvement, and coordination of active younger lawyers in each Chapter and Circuit of FBA
The FBA is dedicated to the advancement of the science of jurisprudence and to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of all attorneys involved in federal law. Members include attorneys practicing in firms of all sizes, as corporate counsel, in federal agencies and in the judiciary. The FBA facilitates communication between the bar and the bench, as well as between the public and private sector.
Mr. Jett represents clients in complex civil litigation in state and federal court. Although he has been involved in a wide variety of cases, he focuses his practice on disputes arising out of the telecommunications, commercial real estate and credit reporting industries. He is a graduate of Stanford University and University of Georgia Law School.
