WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 28)Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Todd Castleton to the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.  He joins as Counsel on the Employee Benefits team in the firm’s Corporate, Finance, and Real Estate Department.

Mr. Castleton brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm, partnering with employers to focus on the tax compliance and administration of qualified defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, and health and welfare plans. He has significant experience advising clients of all sizes and industries, including Fortune 10 to 1000 companies, small and large closely held companies, not-for-profit organizations including trade associations, third-party administrators (TPAs) and other employee benefit plan service providers, trustees and custodians holding employee benefit plan assets, unions, and trustees of Taft-Hartley plans. He has also represented employers in ERISA litigation, labor relations, and employment discrimination matters.

Mr. Castleton earned his J.D. at George Mason University School of Law. He completed post-graduate study and received his LL.M. in Labor and Employment Law with a Certificate in Employee Benefits from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Castleton obtained an Honors B.S. in Philosophy and an Honors B.S. in Speech Communication from the University of Utah.
