Kilpatrick Townsend’s roots in Silicon Valley run deep. As one of the oldest established technology practices in Silicon Valley, we seek out opportunities to bring technology and legal resources to underserved communities in the region. For example, following a recent technology conversion, Kilpatrick Townsend attorneys and staff led an effort to donate and install all of the office’s “gently used” computer equipment in the East Menlo Park’s Ravenswood Elementary School District. Not content to simply donate the equipment, Kilpatrick Townsend’s IT staff lent its expertise in installing the equipment – ensuring that it would be properly used and maintained. The Silicon Valley office also provides financial, pro bono and board level support to the East Palo Alto Youth Court, the Silicon Valley Campaign for Legal Services and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley among other organizations.
